Welcome to 5th Grade Social Studies at Natalia Elementary!
I am excited to start the new year of school with the students and parents of Natalia. Here in 5th grade, you'll be involved in an engaging and hands-on learning experience which will help each student progress to be a life-long learner!
During the Social Studies curriculum this year, we will explore American History, U.S. Government, Geography, and citizenship. We will be researching, creating projects, and using Interactive Notebooks to learn about our great country!

About Mr. Smith
I was born and grew up in small town Ohio called Celina. I have one younger brother in high school named Derek. I graduated from The University of Toledo in Ohio with a Bachelors Degree in Geography and Urban Planning. However, my passion has always been in edcuation. I received my teaching certificate in San Antonio, Texas, where I currently live with my Jack Russell Terrier, Coby and Yellow Lab, Jack.
